~ The character you wish to join on:
Elrandír - Night elf - Druid - 90 - "Alliance Main"
~ Your character's public RP profile
This night elf is tall and placid in complexion, with an average shape to his body. His garbs are incredibly lightweight, featuring some smooth leather sandals, and earthly coloured robe and shoulder pads made from the foliage of the Feralas forestry. Being a mender of wounds and a keeper of woods, this Kaldorei doesn’t wear any weaponry or armour. Instead, he bears a wooden stave filled with natural magic which bears the roots and buds of an Ash tree. The stave would give off a natural luminescent glow.
In the company of others, Elrandír isn’t affraid to exhibit his appearance, however when wandering the woods of Kalimdor and fulfilling his duty to the loosely associated Cenarion Circle, he would hide behind the appearance of a white stag. The stag animal totem is reminiscent of Malorne, father of Cenarius. Because like them, Elrandír acts as a protector of nature, drawing his power from nature itself.
Born in Feralas, Elrandír grew to have an appreciation for the natural beauty around him, thus sought out the Cenarion Circle when he was of age. Through the circle, he learnt to draw his power from nature itself and learn focus of his strength through devotion to the religious beliefs his people hold most dear. Becoming loosely associated with his former teachers, the young thero'shan wandered the forests of Kalimdor to act out on his teachings. Perhaps somewhat lonely at times, only taking company from his surroundings and any creature he befriends, the Kaldorei sometimes enjoys visiting the populated areas dear to his people, Darnassus being the capital of such. His skills in mending and the drawing of energy from nature is something he feels terribly proud of, however he holds regret for the fact he cannot successfully fend off any attackers. As such, the aged druid now continues to wander, continues to watch, hoping that one day he may find the help he needs to learn the other various animal totems with which he can draw their strength and ferocity to better fulfil the role he devoted his life towards.
~ Your RP experience
I have been roleplaying for a long time now. In the past I have roleplayed a former night elf druid character as well as a host of other various characters. Now adays I roleplay a Tauren Chieftain within my own roleplay guild on Argent Dawn, however seek to rekindle that love for night elf roleplay. Overall, around 3 years of total roleplay time.
~ Why you want to join the Guardians?
I am looking for a place for my character to fit in, as well as find a friendly environment to make my time playing this character as fun as possible, OOC and IC. From what I have read from the Cenarion Guardians Argent Dawn thread and Argent Archive page, I am confident I have found that place.
~ Why does your character want to be a Guardian?
As described in the characters profile, Elrandír is searching for those willing to teach him other druidic arts, to provide the much needed company and support he has been lacking for many many years.
~ When do you usually play?
Currently I am available to RP when ever I am online. I try to share my time between leading a Horde guild and Roleplaying out tauren with this new endevour. Some days like many im sure, I do not fancy roleplaying so look to play various alts. I am also currently in search for a Job. When I eventually get one, I wont be online as much as I currently am, but I will continue to strive sharing my free time between my guild and this character as much as possible. Weekdays are the best for me currently. In the future I imagine weekends will be.
~ What makes RP fun for you?
I am used to a lot of casual roleplay and enjoy using improvisation to tell my characters story. That being said I also enjoy being involved within a well thought out story which will add to various character interactions and relationships. I also enjoy rolling/emote fights and other various techniques to act out a situation.
~ What makes RP NOT fun for you?
Lolers, godemotes, people whom design their characters to be immediate authoritative/powerful elite figures. Basically anyone not willing to build upon the rp and whom seek to ruin it for others.
* Answer as your character - write a brief piece, like you would an emote, of your character doing something common to them. A daily routine, a little personal ritual, something of that sort.
Elrandír would peer toward the rippling water beneath the falls, examining how the reeds are brushed in various directions. However, soon his meditative state would be interrupted by the noise of machinery in the distance, the sound of thudding, sawing and grinding. He would lift himself to his feet and watch abruptly as a flock of birds fly frantically over head away from the direction of the disturbance. In one quick transition, the Kaldorei would channel natural magic from his stave which would surround him. A protrusion of antlers would erupt from the front as his shape transforms into an image of Malorne, an image to disguise him as he makes off into the forest to observe the disturbance.
* Answer as your character - Why do you want to join the Guardians? ('To defend the Balance,' is a given, why did they chose to do it with the Guardians rather than anybody else?)
I come here to offer my aid, my knowledge, and to learn. I have spent half a life time acting upon the teachings of my former Shan'do among the circle, to better the world, to protect nature, balance. However I feel.... unfulfilled.
If you would have me, I would offer my stave and my power to helping the Guardians uphold the balance of nature, to heal the wounded of this world and to protect what we hold most dear. I do however seek aid in bettering myself, to learn the various druidic arts that allow ferocity and strength to take shape into that of an animal, so that I may further offer my life to what I have devoted all that I am to achieve. I ask that... if the Guardians can help me, I in turn can help them.
