Mehtomiel,
As you are not aware of the full detail of my current exploits, I shall use these letters to best inform you of the situation so that you may decide a best course of action - these events, I fear, will prove relevant to our charge and as High Guardian you may wish to issue me with specific orders. For that you require information.
The group being escorted is one of misfits. Within our company we have two mages, both human, a Dwarven 'beast master,' and his bear, one of the Draenei shaman, the human Paladin who organised this expedition, a Pandaren priest of sorts and one other Kaldorei, the Hippogryph Rider, Captain Bloomseaker. We are set to guard another human woman by the name of Darmiel and endeavour to remove her corruption. Within her she carries some sentience not her own, although I do not understand its origins I have been told, and this seems true, that the Twilight's Hammer had some part in instilling it with her along with a large portion of shadow magic.
Our quest, then, is to remove this sentience and its magic from Darmiel, by any means - the Paladin wishes us to take him to a Moonwell. Captain Zeesa has assented to this and I am inclined to follow. Captain Bloomseeker's interest ends once she has removed these abnormalities from our land, while I feel I may follow further given the destructive nature of the creature involved.
We have now entered the forests of Ashenvale and are travelling off the road to avoid detection. Passing through Lake Falathim, while now cleared of its invaders and the most of its corruption, the creature did clearly react to the area and its recent past. Words were spoken that were not the human's own. We camp now near the Shrine of Aessina, wherein I will seek the counsel of the forest spirit before we depart towards Falfarren River
