Kyrith from <Bladesong> on AD horde has made a very promising RP addon. I'll give this a try, though I've sent in a feature request to add LDB plugin so I could incorporate this to my UI without an extra floating button. KayrChat will do language tagging without obfuscation for the benefit of fellow RPers; - Example: Choosing to send a message in the Thalassian language will actually send the message in the Orcish language, but with a prefix of "[Thalassian]".
- The message will look identical to one sent using the actual in-game Thalassian language but players of other races will be able to read it, thus facilitating more inclusive RP.
- Limits non-common languages to specific channels (such as /s and /y) to prevent accidental language usage in guild, etc.
- Removes the 255-character limit from the default chatframe editbox and allows messages longer than 255 characters to be typed, which will be automatically split into multiple chat messages as appropriate.

As of now, the optional LDB plugin has been implemented, along with a fix that will hopefully let GHI users to see chat normally. GHI issues can't be completely corrected though as they are a result of GHI bugs, for which Kyrith can't do a thing.
As a few of you wanted to keep our secret elf language secret, I suggested an option to keep race languages unintelligible - this defeats the original inclusiviness goal of the addon, but allows it to be used as an all-round replacement for Babel and similar out-of-date addons. Together with the planned feature to emphasize chosen players' /say messages this makes KayrChat quite handy, and I will be using it myself if the GHI-say-hiding issues don't get too annoying.
