Hello there! You probably don't know me but I would like to change that.
I have spoken to Mehtomiel about an event more suited to a.. proper Elven side of the server. No no we wont be dancing on mail-boxes.
I would like to organise a hunt as a group.
In this hunt the party would look to honor each of the Druidic avatars (Probably the wrong term forgive me) by hunting its prey, offering the prey to its hunter, then hunting the Avatars animal to show our worthiness in its eyes.
I know it sounds more suited to Druids but I felt at heart every elf is a hunter and would like time away from following the laws of the 'Human pup' as Artaios would say.
I beg for any critism, ideas anything to help this idea take wing.
Cheers!

Animal-Spirit Ritualistic Hunty Things (TM) sounds rather fun, I must admit. I'd happily bring Dann along to get involved in some of the more druidic side of things - as regards the ritual itself, Balance side of things and generally being the grumpy old druid.
Though, consider this. Elves strike me (this might not have any backing-up or actual relevance, but hey) as a rather utilitarian society. This kind of festival-like Hunt might not occur very often, considering it's not strictly necessary. The way the Guardians view Balance - and the druidic quasi-religion around it directly avoids 'grovelling,'
So as to say fancy religious ceremony doesn't mean jack because Balance will keep on doing its thing with or without us face down in the mud kowtowing to some idol made out of animal bones.
Even so! It'd be fun. Kudos for the idea, and I'd love to see something started. =)
Dann.

This sounds abit simular to what The Way of Malorne used to do. I wasnt that involved in that, but I think for them it was some kind of old ritual/tradition in honour to the wild and Malorne.
