Name:
Gwenlyn Omenroot.
Race and Class:
Night Elf, druid.
Physical description:
(Will get around to do this on a later note)
Background:
Gwenlyn Omenroot was born roughly five hundred years ago in Ashenvale Forest and raised as any other Elf by the community she lived in, that being a small village. Noteworthy were her golden glowing eyes, signifying druidic affinity. However due to she being female it was considered best that she would tread the traditional paths of her gender, which ultimately ended with her becoming a Sentinel, participating in the Long Vigil. During her service she mainly saw what little conflicts there were with any minor marauding Centaurs, though they rarely or never ventured as far north as to Ashenvale Forest, as well as the occasional mop-ups of what Satyrs were foolish enough not to remain in hiding.
The true testing came during the Third War, both with the Orcs and then the daemons and what Scourge forces they brought with them. Suffice to say the incidents left quite vivid experiences in Gwenlyn. Upon the successful completion of that war, however devastated it left the Kaldorei society, Gwenlyn took the opportunity presented when the traditional gender roles were slowly dissolved - accordingly she petitioned of the Cenarion Circle to be taken into consideration for joining. Eventually she was accepted, and she eagerly began to learn, showing a modicum of natural affinity, though nothing extraordinary.
She temporarily ventured to the Eastern Kingdoms in order to see what the other Alliance nations might look like. Upon her return to Moonglade she was then tutored in how to enter the Emerald Dream, though it quickly involved a task as the Cenarion Circle wished to awaken one of their oldest druids: Anadurion. Having done so he became her Shando, and she his Thero'shan. Her seemingly traditionalist ways and showing respect paved the way for a giving master/apprentice relationship.
Personal notes:
A traditionalist despite her young years in Night Elven terms, meaning she believes that those older should be respected for their years and wisdom. And being a former Sentinel she may at times act as one, meaning that she listens first and asks questions later, if that is needed. Ultimately this also means that without one to lead her, she often feels lost.
